The club has been badly managed by pearson for years. He's been too trusting of people, mcrae, radford smith, and appointed an amateur as ceo resulting in a succession of decisions seeing us spiralling ever downwards.
We've wasted so much money on garbage players its unbelievable. How much did we pay reynolds? Well over £1/2m and there's others too. Add in ridiculous decisions to let players go randomly, ridiculous retention decisions, crazy money for average players and poor overseas recruitment and you can see why we are where we are. Most of this is down to poor management resulting in poor decisions.
Had we nit wasted so much money we'd have a better squad and better off field set up.

I am an IAKOW fan. Last night was a first for me, I turned sky from FC to another channel and watched Hudds v Leigh. I’m losing the Will to watch, it was that bloody awful, if I’m doing it then there must be plenty of others with less fortitude that have already given up. Pass sales for next season are going to take a dramatic fall unless something spectacular happens are they going to sack Grix next?

Last night just reminded me that the person responsible for this utter mess is Pearson and I hope that someone is coming in not just to invest but also to take over as Pearson is done at this club. Until we get a true clean sleep I think an element of doubt will stay in people's minds about the where the clubs going. This in between thing will hold people back in trying to reengage with the club.

As Jake mentioned i think once Pearson gets his loans repaid and something for his shares he will be off like a rat up a drainpipe. His credibility with fans is shot Interesting when Cartwright was interviewed he mentioned Richie Rich several times but not once mentioned Pearson which i found strange as Pearson still owns the club Like you i think the money hopefully coming in is a takeover rather than investment

I have wondered this myself and if that's why he's taking on the Chief Executive role from James Clark. I'm thinking he's possibly sold up and is taking the role on temporarily until it's all completed or he's possibly sold up a majority share and once completed he'll take up the mantle of CEO on a permanent basis whilst the club has a new Chairman/Owner.

Would make sense for someone who knows the club and has been around a while to take up that role for a period of time until the new owners have got a feeling for everything.
