I only saw the first half but Percival was lucky not to see red for me. Clear contact to the head very similar to his Salford red card and how the Mbye 'try' didn't go upstairs is beyond me. lost it into the Leeds man before grounding.

Unlicky lmao
WTF has that got to do with the conversation you tool? If you look back at my previous posts you will recall what I said about Murphy, you obviously have a mental issue and therefore I pity you.

To be honest I don't remember any of those 3 spending much time on the wing.

Hanley spent time on the wing, scoring lots of tries there. From Wiki:
He scored a remarkable 55 tries in only 37 appearances, an achievement made even more remarkable as he switched between the positions of wing, centre and stand-off.

I'll concede he may have played on the wing in his first season, was that 1985/86? That is the year you are quoting the stats for. He actually won the Golden Boot in 1989 and I'm fairly sure he didn't play many, if any, on the wing that year. As always I'm more than happy to be corrected

The discussion is not about a single season it is about which player has performed best during the SL era.

I think he's definitely one of the best , I'd maybe have him top 5 but definitely more 5th than 1st
Off the top of my head I'd say something like robinson, vainikolo, Richards, hall, makinson.
Charnley is definitely a great try scorer but not really close to these guys all round for me. I think Robinson and vainikolo are probably more spectacular but the other three are just all round great at everything.

The fact there is a thread on a Wigan forum discussing saints players says it all. There is no thread in redvee talking about Wigan players being because, no one cares lmao

There’s a difference between knowledgeable rugby league people who post on this site, of which you are not one, and a bunch of inward looking Saints fans (exceptions being some Saints fans who engage on here). If no one cares then why are you posting? It’s a discussion about the best SL winger, a category which Makinson fits into. People can either agree or disagree with what I have posted on the subject as long as they give their reasons. I suggest you just go and boil your head and let the rest of us get on with what we know best, debating rugby league.
