Sadly, there’ll be a few players looking to get out of their contracts.

Croft wouldn't get in 90% of the NRL sides - he looked a good player in a side that played to his strength. He should be having more impact in the games than he does

Isn’t he the leading try assist charts in the league?

Any running/creative half back is going to struggle when your team is coughing up possession and more importantly field position like we are doing.

Theres a bit of a shortage of half backs in the NRL (hence dodd getting a gig and even Sezer) he would get in most teams.

Your point about the team's inability to carry out basic skills is valid but he could show more and stand up to be counted. He hides in games.

If he had a guaranteed spot in the NRL he would be there - he is playing in SL like the rest of those coming over because they can't get a gig in the NRL. Sezer has cruised every since he came here both at the Giants and at Leeds. He was a good half when he was at the Raiders - a far better player than Croft has ever been. Are you suggesting Croft is a better player than Dodd?

Peter Wallace Penrith assistant, highly regarded? This is the type of coach we should be looking at, proven NRL assistant ready to step up. We need someone who can maximise the potential of the squad and get back to basics tried and tested game plans.

Funnily enough, a couple of weeks ago I was looking at all the NRL assistants and Wallace was the one that stood out to me too.

It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

Yes Croft is a better player than Dodd who i think is highly overrated

Put Dodd in our side and he would look like Frawley.

I get people are down on the club at the moment but let’s not start bagging the actual quality players we have got.

No way are Sezer or Dodd better than Croft.
The problem with Croft is that he's gone to the wrong club.

He does not hide in games. He tackles harder than some of our props, he now does all the kicking, and he consistently takes on the line whenever our desperately outgunned pack create even a sniff of momentum. Brodie Croft is absolutely not the problem.
