We're not at all competitive and there's not much sign of any improvement in recent games. If Saints had been more clinical in the first half, they'd have had at least two more tries. This season is a write off. I get the argument that changing coaches mid-season rarely pays off, but neither does flogging a dead horse. Time for a change of coach.
... then it comes back to who would WANT to be coach of us? And who is actually available with any kind of experience or pedigree?

Super Saints Second Half Demolishes the Rhinos A round twelve encounter between joint league leaders, St Helens, and seventh placed Leeds Rhinos was likely to be a one-sided affair with the bookies giving the Rhinos a fourteen-point start on the coupon despite the Rhinos having Brodie Croft and Harry Newman back in their starting line-up along with on-loan Matty Russell.
Saints would end the night two points clear of the chasing pack of they were to pick up the win, the Rhinos could lift themselves into the top half of the table if they were to grab an unlikely win over the old enemy, something that they haven't managed since a one-point win in March 2023.
Pre-game there was pessimism amongst the Rhinos fans, expectation amongst those supporting Saints.

Still don’t think they will sack him, but he should be sacked, spiralling downwards at an increasing rate. Think we nay lose yo Cas next week and in current showing may only win 3 of the next 10

As many of us on here have been saying.. we’re heading in the wrong direction. Absolutely rubbish. We’re not even competing. I don’t mind losing if it’s a good game and it’s close but we’re a laughing stock. Smith out.
I have to question players a bit too in this... when does it trigger in players minds, both experienced and new, that they don't think Rohans tactics / strategy are working? Couldn't Sinfield JR and Co approach Cam Smith as captain and "suggest" to try a different method of defense / attack? So that Cam can relay through chain of command to Rohan?

Apart from the cross field chip over the top, what in Smith's rugby would anyone believe in? There is literally nothing other than that kick. We aren't even exciting but error-prone, we are boring to watch and error-prone doing the most simple things.
