He's playing for one of the top clubs in the league whilst we're at the bottom. I think he's shown his credentials. And as for winners, at the moment we need players that can win us a game let alone ones that can help us compete and win trophies again. We can't just click our fingers and magically start challenging again.
I haven't really seen anyone saying he isn't good enough, more questioning his fitness and seeming inability to complete a season without being injured for most of it. Let's be honest, he's way overweight and that can't help with injury prevention and isn't allowing him to be the best he can be on field.
using our last marquee spot on him is a big risk. A spine including walker, trueman, abdul and asiata hardly looks the most robust in the comp

Exactly this. No one is questioning his talent. He was leading MOS before he got injured again. I was quite happy with the him signing until I saw him last week. Spending big on someone who cannot be arsed about his conditioning is a big risk.

Just to be clear, I'm basing this more off the socials such as the FB groups rather than what anyone has been saying on here. But there were lots of posts and comments earlier in the week on there saying he wasn't good enough for us, he's not won anything, we need winners etc. Absolutely no problem with those questioning his fitness and injury record which are valid concerns to have. It's the other stuff that I had a problem with and basing my comments off.

I'm too intelligent to be on facebook so haven't see anything

Yes, really poor. Surprising as I met him earlier in the year and he seemed a quiet, unassuming man.
Six games would put him out until round 19 at the end of July
