Assuming that London are "relegated", if both Trinity and Toulouse are "promoted", which is the other SL club for the chop ? If the powers that be actually know the make up of SL for next season, they need to get the information out there a.s.a.p.
To hit the close season and to have clubs thinking but, not knowing, if they are up or down, really isnt good for anyone, especially the clubs most affected.

Matt Shaw, who seems to have had a real deep dive into it all, seems to think the last spot in the 12 is very close between Toulouse and Cas. He had Cas fans up in arms on social media the other week.

Interesting that nobody is talking about Leigh though, they were 12th on the initial scoring, scoring 12.45 and again, I struggle to see against the criteria where the improvement comes from? They instantly lose a point that was given for winning the cup, unless for whatever reason that wasn`t factored in?

Imagine the kerfuffle with Degsy if Leigh are considered for the drop. It will be biblical.

They have just got their academy licence plus, their cup final win last season. Also, thier attendances have been pretty good.

I've thought the same about Leigh, I know Beaumont does a great deal of talking but as far as factual improvements I don't know of any, maybe apart from finances I've heard him mention but I'm not sure how that works, ie loans, gifts, because Ellis could and probably has stuck loads of money in and for effect could stick what he wants into the club.
Same as Toulouse, they are more than likely going to finish mid-table this season, unless they suddenly change things. But how & where are they going to make those small improvements that'll get them more points and into SL. I haven't heard of any, in fact, the opposite. The way I read that article in TRL, it almost seems that they think the number they got from IMG last time is going to be still competitive. Who knows.

So has Salford apparently, but I'm sure that doesn't count for anything as far as IMG points. Cup counts only one year. I also don't think their attendance figure will average over 7500 over the last 3 seasons, even if they have improved though, to move up into the next category to get more points..
