I think there are some comments in his after game interview that could be taken as trying to force the boards hand this coming week when he says we won't be able to name a full team next week due to the latest injuries. Hopefully that brings a positive response but like has been said its a worry that other teams have been able to afford to bring loan players in but it looks like we can't do that. I just can't see Finn turning players down at the moment so this has to be a decision higher up.

When did we last name a 21 man squad? Most weeks it has been 20 and last week was just 19!

There's issues within the squad with the quality of some players as has been said by others, however with it been so small there's not a case of someone who doesn't perform been dropped the following week. There is no competition for places, and it is likely some players are playing who aren't 100% and if we had a larger squad would be resting that weekend.

Right now we're in a really rut, no idea where the next win is coming from. Something needs to change and quick.

That and the emotions, pressure of the moment.

Just after another defeat and losing 2 more key players from a already thread bare squad with the extent of the injury / time frame unknown during the interview.

I mean if you were a specialist speech writer what could you put down that would change anything or make things sound good?

The board have said they fully back Finn and they work together they need to recognise the importance of the moment and show that now.

If they do and it still doesn’t work then the responsibility / accountability will fall on the coaching staff, if they don’t it will fall on them and there will be repercussions that could split the club and fans base maybe irrevocably.

Worst team I have seen since Anthony Farrell was coach and we nearly got relegated.
Squad is too small . All teams get injuries.
Relying on dual reg is not working.
I won't be spending £20 to watch semi professional rugby without any reward.
Now club has come out saying you cannot express a opinion.

Spot on and if they don’t / can’t respond now then they never will and we’re in deep, deep trouble.

The problem with having a bigger squad and having spoken to a few players at Fax you either have some of a similar standard who think at Championship level their good enough to be playing each week and when there not more or less guaranteed a start would rather move on than hang around such as Aston a couple of years back, Pickersgill, Murray and Moore etc more recently.

Or you have the young lads like Cole Oakley, Ben Foster and this year Campbell who never get a game so what’s the point of having them?

Haven’t given a lot of thought to what others are doing, is it only us?

Location: The sweet little hollow of Shayland where new dawns are slowly unfolding.
Sorry but Finn is supposed to be a proven coach after taking Dewsbury up so what's the issue. Injuries yes, complete and utter lack of heart and desire to at least compete though...?

The boys must be hurting but someone needs to LEAD.

Bring Muzza back (in any capacity as long as he is comes) before it's too late.

We shall one day be back where we belong and along shall come the Bulls defectors.

This is where true and hardened supporters show their colours. Not going to games takes money away from the club so making the situation worse. The club haven’t said you can’t make your views known. They have asked people not to use profanities (thats swearing if you don't know) because it is a public site and read by people of all ages.

It's sacrilege to go into the season with a 23- man squad. You only have to look at recent history and seasons of teams who on paper had far worse teams but run with a 25+ man squad, Swinton especially but look at Whitehaven this season and when they finished sixth a season or so ago, not a pot to mickey in but they are extremely competitive and have even structural issue of even attracting players outside of Cumbria. On the pitch we are just not competitive. Yes, some of the players should have been turned over last year and yes, losing key first teamers no doubt will cause disruption but its a squad game for a reason. I cannot help lose sight of the fact that unless the board duped him, Finn was appointed wayyyyyy before the end of season and he would have been working with a projected budget. Donny will tell us everything we need to know. If Jouffret and WBH are both out then salty will have to go to FB, and hopefully Kavanagh is fit then McComb can go back to the wing.

On team selection so far this season more chance of having Kav at Fb and McComb at prop.

TBF Kav has been one of those who have been way off levels of prior years. From all accounts he didn't want to do another year (and it shows) but was persuaded to, body language says it all.
