2023 - Challenge cup winners & top 6 play offs. Lam coach of the year & 5 players in the SL dream team.
2024 - poor start due to many injuries to key players - Key players coming back & now turning a corner. top 6 is still achievable. Lam signs contract until end of 2027. The future is bright, the future is the Leopards
2025-2027 - Leigh will spend full cap with all 3 allowed marquee players to come in.

Whilst Leigh are going in the right direction, Hull Fc are going in the opposite direction.

For me, Lam has already passed the test. A few scoops today to celebrate Lammy's commitment to Leigh. :thumb:

Wow, and I thought Rovers supporters were needy.

its a different type of preassure, in a simular situation at Wigan with a far more advanced squad then he inherited at Leigh he struggled to make a massive impact. Which ultimately lead to him losing his job, I would have being happy with his appointment but still feel the job would be more then he could chew.

You cant compare Leighs and Hulls situation.

If you’re not a fan his recruitment record that’s a bit of a worry, given that Hull’s is now following it so closely, having just changed the best before date.

Edit: link already provide by previous poster

Fwiw, I don’t think Lam would have been a great fit for Hull. That said, I think his re-signing for Leigh is good news for them.

His recruitment has been overall fantastic, particularly his quota players, let's see how he gets on over the next 18 months.

Cokey we all thought that about Radford, who was more successful than Lam, didn't work out great in the end.

Things can change very quickly, as we unfortunately have found out.

You mean when French and field was out for the season?

Personally I think you're in denial what really is required. You've been on a suck it and see journey with failure, and you're just digging a bigger hole for yourself. I'm not having a go at your club, I'm just stating facts. You have a massive hill to climb...Good luck.

Not going so well this season is it? Some big holes to fill in that team next season. Leigh are OK while dez is paying the bills but not big enough to be sustainable without a sugar daddy

Talking about Cartwright and being linked to FC. They all have a very high opinion of him, even the Titan fans charming in on the conversation.
Then as I read on, they are saying they're sad to see him go, wishing him the best at FC etc etc
Now I don't know if they're taking the reports as he's on his way or if they've heard something or know something.

Can you put a link on?

He seems very very well respected. Only been around good things. Built up the titans from the ground up. Won NRL GF and is currently an origin assistant coach. Very very good appointment if this comes off.

We're still giddy from winning the C Cup i suppose. The only one who takes this on board,( and get's the situation) seriously is bonaire, and i applaud that   . For bonaire's sake, i hope you get it right ,and start competing with the top clubs, and challenging for honours. :thumb:

You are a very enigmatic character Cokey. No contributions to this or indeed many other rlfans forums for twenty years but for the last couple you can't keep away.

Any particular reason why?
