Its so rare that players ask to leave us and yet Eden will be the 3rd this season, it does make you wonder what is going on. Moore made sense, 3 hookers and a chance to get the top earner off the books. Dan Murray made no sense what so ever when we were already light in the pack. Eden saying he wants to stay in the Championship has to ring alarm bells that something is not right.

I do think there are problems at the club but I don’t think Eden leaving is related, I think it’s a shock for him switching from super league to championship, full time to part time , logistically it makes sense for him to go to fev , he has a young family and in a recent radio Leeds interview mentioned about how he was struggling not seeing them , I think him leaving and the clubs apparent finances are not related .

Is there a concern on commitment when any player doesn’t turn up for training ( unless it was the Fev knock ) and asks to leave but the club wants them to stay until they get a replacement? Maybe get the answer if he’s in this weeks squad and plays at York.

It is my understanding that edens departure will be announced today so I would assume but not certain that his replacement as been found .
Hopefully use the money freed up to bring in a centre rather than a winger.

That should take some of the load of Tom as he hasn’t been and can’t be as effective when he’s doing the full 80 as opposed to either starting or coming on and ripping into a tiring defence. Only downside is, if there both in the starting 17 it takes some size of the bench and even more reason not to have McComb in the second row for me.

Tom Inman won't be playing for a fair few weeks.

Yep. Got told just after I had posted but been laying 14 ton of hardcore and not had time to get back to it. Tom being out longish term as well as the rest. That's all we need.
