Yep I knew that but today was the first time I'd seen a picture of him in that shirt! Horrible! I'm sure that if we sign him our medical team will be able to fully decontaminate him

I’ve nothing against Hall however I did feel he was somewhat overhyped after 1 admittedly impressive season.
He seems unable to settle anywhere for different reasons and is now in limbo regards his position being used as a secondrow and centre.
Obviously much depends on who else is available and his expectations but to be honest personally I wouldn’t lose any sleep if we missed out on him.
Don't disagree, he is no world beater, no one is claiming he is, but with no overseas quota places available our options become more limited, there just aren't that many centres out of contract at the moment, I'm more than happy to leave the decision up to recruitment team they have done a fantastic job so far

Who are they? I had a completely different opinion on TJ, he never had anything wrong with his defence, the only thing you could nitpick and it was when he first burst onto the scene was his positioning, which all wingers have to learn.
Part of it, but not the only reason. Appleyard definitely wanted Dagger, that's certainly the main reason, I wouldn't argue with that. Whether people like it or not Dagger was actually the best signing Mash ever made, and if we had of stopped up, he'd have been far more instrumental in our survival than Hall. The team did improve on his arrival as far as I'm concerned. We actually didn't want to lose Hall if we could avoid it, but we simply couldn't afford to sign Dagger and pay a fee, so a player swap was our only option, and Hall was one of the players they were willing to take, they had us over a barrel. Part of the justification for Hall was the head issue he supposedly had at the time, and it was a position we could cover better than FB, where we were really struggling. People can blame Mash and Carter all they like, but there were very few options at the time.

Totally depends on promotion, can't see any player leaving a SL trinity out of choice anymore.

I thought it seemed weird too, even weirder when Eseh came on against St Helens.

Yeah, it's what I said earlier. Hull KR had made enquiries about Hall at the start of the season I think it was, so the club knew that was the only real asset they could use to potentially make a deal for Dagger. Unfortunately, we were a skint club and we had no other choice at the time, but like you say even though we lost a prospect, Dagger really did come through for us.
