The facts relating to Jordan Abdul are:

- he’s been injury prone and struggled with weight his whole career. (Kelly was fat before he came to us)
- he would be a big earner.
- MOS point per game ratio is fantastic
- non quota
- Catalan and St Helens are both interested in signing him.

He obviously has massive flaws but realistically is a great player and better than anything we’ve got.

If Charles is going to be as good as we all think, it’ll provide us good cover if JA/ JT have a spell on the side line.

People acting like we’d be signing him from Champ and not from Catalan where he is first choice playing for a choice a lot of people are saying we should’ve brought in

Man of Steel contender, an England international, and yet some think we had his best days! I honestly don't know what our fans want any more. Could be linked with Johnathan Thurston at his peak and we'd still find something wrong with him!

Club can't do any right in some people's eyes.

We lacked investment, had no marquee players and a poor coaching set up.

We now have investment, going to have 3 marquee players, above the cap, new coaching set up. Our recruitment far from over, a new coach coming in and Myler only been here 4 weeks.

Let's give the club and Myler a chance to at least finish his first round of recruitment.

I can only think that it's because he went and played for Rovers that's clouding people's judgment on him. Admittedly he didn't say some good things about us after he signed for them but he wasn't going to declare himself a proud FC fan was he! As someone said on FB last night, Mikey Lewis has said a lot worse but I'd be buzzing if we signed him!

The club can only be applauded by trying to change the dynamics of the squad from what was signed last season and to an extent previously .
Trying to juggle the SL Cap with better players in a limited player pool and loaning /Severing others off must be a nightmare .
At least we haven't got Clark doing the root and branch !!

Notorious for his poor training attitude & inability to keep himself in good shape.

We had the best of him ( except for when his kicking game for KR destroyed us at MKM ) why did we let him go ? 'He likes his kebabs...... Jordan Abdul he likes his kebabs'. His best days are behind him - KR & Catalans are testimony to that - why do people think we can wave a majic wand, and transform him, all the evidence is we take average players & make them worse.

Mentoring ?? Come on - which of our truly promising youngsters have we signed up long term, Davy Litten & Denive Balmforth were the big hopes for this year, neither can break into the team which is about to set new records for losing.

Could accept JA as a squad player who can play 13 but really ? He will be nowhere near marquee money now & he has NOT pushed on, if AP still signing the cheques he hasn't learned the errors of the last two seasons.

Not sure what you mean - he's currently first choice at Catalans.

They have also not learnt that pace is an essential now in the modern game
The club has suffered from a lack of pace for several seasons now yet if the rumours are true we will have two slow halfbacks as Trumeman lost his pace following the first injury at Castleford
Abdul is a carthorse and in Briscoe,Hardaker and Sutcliffe what is likely to be the slowest backline ever seen in S/L

IF we can keep them both fit, Trueman and Abdul could compliment each other well and be a good halfback pairing, they're basically the opposite of each other, Trueman is a fast elusive runner, but doesn't have a brilliant kicking game and isn't an organiser. Abdul has the best kicking game in the league, is an organiser (and not a runner of the ball) could work well, but the worry for me is keeping them both fit, I'm more worried about Trueman suffering another long term injury than Abdul

Haha a 360 route from "Fatty Abdull" to "Man of Steel Elect" and back again when the only thing that's really changed is his shirt. I LOVE IT!!
