"grix is well liked by the playing staff and officials at the club" if we take this route again, it proves player power still rules the roost at the club. Our coach shouldn't be picked on his likeability, but his talent and ability to improve us. So far Grix is yet to win a game, our attack hasn't improved, the defence has improved marginally, but still not good enough, keep him as an assistant for a couple of years to learn under another coach, I don't know if I can take another "well regarded internal assistant" like Agar/Radders that fail to impress on the pitch (and before people say it about the cup wins - a lot of what radders served up was a load of rubbish).

I tend to agree, it’s hardly an appointment that’s going to get people rushing out to buy season passes.

But not if the coaching is going to the be the same as what’s got us in this mess. I’d just like a complete overhaul, Wane or Rowley would have been ideal.

I think a lot of people are blinded to the cup wins with Radders and tbh,we should have got to the grand-final in one of those cup win seasons but we had some severe batterings under him and the rot set in then,Hodgson was out of his depth but whoever took over was on a hiding to nothing and it’s taken us to hit the level we have to re-set as a club. All clubs go through it…It’s not so long ago that Sts and Wigan was not in the doldrums but not as powerful as they are now nor Catalans for that measure

Still think they are getting the better deal.
If he gets some gametime at Rovers think he will do well there.
Not kicked on for me, too many errors and penalties too. With Fash, brown, cator and lane we are too small in the middle. I reserve judgement on Aydin as I’ve not seen enough of him yet.

If we had a bigger pack, Brown would be more effective, but we don't and he struggles with our lack of size, has the odd crazy offload in him too like Sao does. He played his best rugby under Hodgson but I feel he's gone backwards under Smith
