It looks like Lino will have an enforced rest. Time to see how the team performs without him. If the attack is more fluid then it will highlight the need for a new 7, if it wasn't already obvious.

If Lino gets 4 matches and it starts straight away he'll miss the semi against Bradford. If we win his first game back would be Wembley. If Lawford played and got us there I think I'd leave him out.
If the ban starts after this weekend he'll miss the final anyway.

Can't believe anybody falls for this wind-up merchant.

Seems unlikely to be streamed anywhere which is a great shame, the 1895 Cup is the RFL's baby, but the lack of television coverage feels like a missed opportunity to showcase the quality of the Championship to a wider audience.
Unless the schedule changes it doesn't look like BBC Radio Leeds are going to cover it either (BBC Radio York are covering the Knights v Eagles) Why can't the RFL get one or preferably both games on either the Sportsman or their own platform Our League (even if they make it pay to view) Wonder if the plan was for it to have been broadcast on Premier Sports if their deal had been accepted ? Still means the RFL have had plenty of time to make alternative arrangements
You can hear every Bradford game on game day by tuning into Mick Gledhill commentary on the Mixir app. He usually puts the link on his Twitter page “The Game Caller” shortly before kickoff. He’s Bradford through and through, but you will get full match commentary.

Have listened to this guy before and apart from, as you say, he is Bradford through and through, he seems to be in a fantasy world, for example in our home game against the Bulls there was a coming together of the players after Jowitt scored which he described as a Brawl with punches being thrown, then, and this was the part which made me really angry, he went on to say that the Wakefield fans in the North stand were getting involved and were throwing punches. If you watch the video no players from either team throw a punch, nor was anyone charged by the RFL for doing so. No supporters were involved in any fighting some of them put their arms out to stop grappling players from both sides coming into contact with some small kids sat or stood on the railings
Not condoning Lino's actions in any way, it was stupid and petulant, but if he had thrown the ball any gentler it wouldn't have even reached Jesse Sene Lefao
Powell said in his post match interview that he would be having a chat with Lino about his actions
