Good luck to John with you guys. To think we had him for a season while we were in the championship is quite bizarre. It's okay that he's not left us for a club that I don't like, but obviously was hoping we could have had him for another 2 years.

There are some on here so blinkered and full of hate when it comes to anything HKR yet they forget our best halfback we have had in years came from HKR and conveniently forget that Aydin who is likely to be with us for most of the season is on loan from HKR. Brown doesnt come anywhere near King as a front row and will be no loss when he goes. King is on his way to Huddersfield for next season but as you say is a solid option as a front row
Asiata is better in your side in any form than playing against him. He has a quality no doubt but he is dangerously close to ending a players career and for that reason he will be hated where ever he plays.
His X comment indicated a huge £160,000 pay rise which from £90k is ridiculous money for someone who will be injured or band more then he’ll play.
For the record JWH isn’t on marquee money far from it.

Guess we'll see who plays the most games. Asiata played 31/34 in 2022 and 28/33 in 2023.
Pearson/Myler/New Coach need to be pretty brutal with retention, particularly with quota places. Pele and Okunbor are clearly either not up for it or up to it, possibly both and need to go. Whilst we need squad players, they can't take up a quota place and I'd rather see some of the kids playing than these two.
Asiata's signing has set a benchmark and outlines the palpable ambition of the club. Obviously, he'll be one of the biggest earners but these two are not reflective of that ambition.
