Nah. You need to look at both teams. We (Fev) are very much in rebuild, spent less than half of last year and struggling mightily with absentees too (Springer, Aikens, Lacans, Hardcastle, Massey, Tanner all missing currently). Fev were poor at Whitehaven and lucky to win, and have some glaring areas of weakness at the moment.
Not saying Fev won't win but this is nothing like the Fev team of recent years, as I say we're very much in rebuild mode and don't have the galaxy of stars to come in when injuries strike as in the last couple of years.
[quote="Hudd-Shay"]Luke Hooley, Batley/Leeds/Castleford now in Fev's squad. While I'd usually prefer us to just use our own players, the recent performances of the team and Finns inability to drop underperforming players due to a lack of alternatives means I'd welcome even a temporary influx of new blood to shake things up. If that could be combined with playing our 3 best players in their best positions, so much the better!
Not sure if the boys running the twitter feed are on one but another game with several bombed chances ?! But this is a new low to concede 18 points with 20 mins left against 12 men. A*** well and truly fallen out in all our defeats, not like they have been close (19, 26, 46, 18 & 20). Only York are worse considering their spend but not like we have had a net loss of talent, maybe apart from Walmsley. 10 games I gave Finn - A comfortable loss at York and surely it has to be curtains. We are shipping points for fun, 2nd worst defence and THE WORST ATTACK. Can you hope for the tide to change? Lets not forget that 3 of our competitive wins were against two amateur sides and Rochdale. There hasn't been a wholesale turnover in the squad. He talks effort etc but clear regression thus far.
