Looks like I was wrong, can hardly remember Lane taking the ball up.
Don't feel completely in my boots like I have done every other game this season.
Still poor with ball in hand, we dont offer a great deal. Last tackle plays are even worse though. Desperate for Trueman.
Thought Chamberlain looked after Martin really well. Didn't get much ball but is solid defensively, if we can keep him for the rest of the season I'd be happy.
Ese'ese was the best forward on the pitch. Huge minutes and ran his blood to water.
We're still a poor team but at least we looked a bit more together. Grix made some odd subs too. Gardiner didn't come on while late on, Brown only doing 1 stint?
Leeds are horrendous, Frawley is the worst 7 ive seen for them and Miller is a stinker too. I'll give Smith until the end of May and then he'll be binned.

Thank god we never signed Frawley. We have big half back issues of our own, but at least we have cap space and quota spots to work with. Leeds are stuck with Frawley for a while longer and he offers even less than Morgan Smith.

Said this last week, but I would expect only 6 at most of that starting 17 to start the first game next season.
I'd still like to see at least two more players being brought in, a 7 and a backrower, People keep saying the season is over and while it is, you can see what a better performance does for the club and the young players, key that we keep going to the end of the year and try and pick up a few wins.

Maybe that's true, will have to watch it again, definitely been better this year, still see him as a squad player at best.

To be fair I was very much of the same opinion as Dave. If you'd have asked me before I saw the stats I'd have said Sao took twice as many carries as Lane.

This.
It will aid the development of the young 'uns infinitely more to be playing in a battling/competing team.
Add a 7 and back-row until the end of the season and we might even pick up some wins.
