Last two posts sum it up, we were due a reminder and got it today. Russell isn't super league standard anymore unfortunately. His knock on from that Watkins offload would've been gobbled up by a half decent SL winger.

We were all pants today, but he doesn't feel like he fits in with burgess team, he's a bit of a square peg
Gutted, more for Hayes than anything else. These are the games we should win to have any joy.
Collectively all off the ball today with Harrison and Williams maybe the exceptions.
Walker needs to calm down and his team mates need to do that I thought I was watching Captain frantic Brad Dwyer at times.
Russell was poor and with Ratchford at centre I felt we had no threat on either edge. Salford were letting that ball over the top knowing that Russel couldn't hurt them, his defence under high balls and that knock on, were painful. Will do the watchback but let's hope it's a wake up and we go again.
The cracks are starting to show now aren't they. Right on cue. Walker had his worst game in a Wire shirt I thought, but then most didn't come away with much. King I thought was very good though.
Poor Russell. He played OK for us last year so a bit harsh to write him off yet. It was touch & go today & against Leigh. But Wigan, Catalan & Saints looked poor this week. You just can't expect to win & play well every week. Our forward interplay has been sussed. I'd like the Salford centres. So sorry for Hayes ... wot a lovely lad.
