Sad to see Tom go but I didn’t see him getting a pick ahead of Hanley now. He gave us 100% always. My thanks and best wishes to him. Mcintosh fits straight into fullback short term to allow Moylan back to 6. Once O’Brien is fit I see him as our starting #1 but in the meantime, McIntosh has the chance to shine and make a claim. A move that puts us in a better position to win some games in the next 3-4 games and have a chance of top 6 with bodies back. He has pace but some Hull fans allude to inconsistency and errors. If anyone can bring out his full potential it’s A Lam. Chamberlain gone on a months loan also. Not had much game time this season but looked a shadow of his self when he has. Not much impact ball in hand and missing lots of tackles. I hope he gets regular game time to shake off the rust and turn it around. I’m sensing something else may be brewing

In isolation, I think it's a fairly underwhelming signing. Not sure McIntosh will get into the side. Haven't seen him play full back, but he certainly doesn't take a wing spot.
That said, we've replaced a 33 year old with a 26 year old and if it does end up being part of freeing up cap space to bring a bigger signing in, then it's a good bit of business.
looking like dwyer was a waste of cap a ccup gamble that didnt pay off. what we needed was a three quarter who had some pace and preferably kicks goals but weve needed that since reynolds left

I wouldn't say he was a waste on the cap. Our first choice 9 is still out, and we've relased Mellor and Smith recently. I know Davis and McNamara have been earmarked to play there, but Ipape and Dwyer would be a much better combination.

TBF - Lady luck has been against us so far this season, and we are halfway through a 5 year plan, and still building. I feel a purple patch is just around the corner. COYL.
For me Ipape and Dwyer are the best 9 combination in the league. He’s played some very long minutes and stood out for me so far. Looking forward to the pair rolling behind a full/fit pack.

but its a salary cap sport and suddenly we are up to top our needswere other than hooker and we are likely to have won a couple of games if we had spent correctly.maybe we could have done it another road and got rid of the value that was in breach of contract before the season started might then have had some money in kitty to cover emrgencies
Estimated Salary Spend. Hull FC Chairman said the report is nowhere near correct. Tex Hoy and Nu Brown were taking a huge chunk of the cap and it is easy to see why they got rid.
It is easy to see how quickly the cap fills, with soft cap at £2.1 million and a squad of 33, that is an average of £63.6K per player. That is why teams load up with youngsters on between £15K and £25K.
