Dewsbury are presently next to bottom of the table with one win from 5 league games.
17th March: Dewsbury v Halifax L 24-10 29th March: Dewsbury v Batley W 24-4 7th April: Dewsbury v Widnes L 24-6 14th April: Barrow v Dewsbury L 27-20 21st April: Swinton v Dewsbury L 50-22
Taking the Barrow result as a direct comparison with our result, we seem to have the edge. My guess on the bookies line is that the Dons will probably be giving Dewsbury 12 points start.

I'm pretty sure the Management will have targeted this game. Focus and cut out the penalties and get the points. Good luck lads, really rooting for us on this one.

I would imagine the club will have targeted the likes of Dewsbury , Swinton , Barrow and Haven as our must win games, as these are the teams that will be in the relegation mix come the end of the year. I am more than happy with our start to the year as I felt we would lose our first four games, so the York result was a massive bonus as they are a good side and currently in a false position.
A few other sides seem to be struggling, notably Halifax and Batley ,are their results down to injuries?
Last year 9 wins was enough to stay up , so fingers crossed we get the job done Sunday.

Minus 18pts with not fantastic conditions won't have me rushing to the bookies, we absolutely can cover that but think it will just be a watching brief this afternoon for me COYD

Agreed, these sort of conditions can be quite a leveller.

I agree with all of the above. Wet conditions generally mean lower scores and a mid-field grind. I think Dewsbury probably look a good bet getting 18 points start. I'll be delighted if we win by that many.
The question for us is whether Barrow had an off day and we were flattered or whether our performance against Fev is a better reflection of where we're at. I suspect we're better than the Fev performance but we need to back up the Barrow result for me to think we're actually that much better than them.
