Just a random question, as i always find it really odd.
But does anyone know why they stand so far away from each other on the pitch?
Watching Carney, wilkin etc stand like 3 feet away from each other at all times really weird, i assume there is a reason for it but not sure why?

It comes from a few years ago when Wilkin was on with Wellens as a guest and they were doing a Saints game together. A Saints player (I think Lomax or Walmsley if memory serves) was tackled, and the accompanying arm-waving by Wellens and Wilkin was so violent that Carney was left with severe facial injuries which required major surgery.

Carney refused to come back unless it was written into his contract that all pundits would stand at a minimum 90cm away from one another, hence the situation you describe.

Is it because it's easier to take a single shot (Camera not Sniper)?
