I dunno, the best performances Wire put in last season were both against Saints. Imo. We didn’t deserve to get beat and Saints at home in the league was the only game under Powell that made me feel alive.

Saints game over the last 4 years or so has been based on running harder and faster than everyone else, daring teams to match their intensity.
I think (very in short) we did that at the weekend. Whilst they were missing some numbers, they've beaten us with weakened teams easily in the past.
We out enthused them, we exploited their weaknesses outside bennison and hurrell with our strengths. And rhey had a couple of players who really had stinkers. So it's a combination of things.
That being said I think the key thing is we out enthused them, you saw our players daving on loose balls, going for rhe scrappy extra 1%s. Thats a sign of extra efforts which is led by the coach.
It's a good sign let's hope it's a trend that continues
