I am angry.. not at the kids cos tonight was expected in all honesty... Its at the club for putting these kids in this postion with utter direness all round..

To be fair apart from Houghton's high tackle. I didn't think our discipline was bad.
The ref gave a pen for every alleged ball steal Saints way. Our one, on their line was a "lost ball"..even though it was clearly punched out.
The six agains in the first half were baffling. We were off in millisecond's whilst he allowed them much longer.
Second half he allowed us a bit longer but also them slightly longer.
Thought the kids were marvellous. Expected a big score so was just interested in their performance.

Much better effort from the lads tonight!
This was always going to be another heavy defeat, so respect to them hanging in there. Saints had 65% possession tonight.
Discipline needs addressing urgently.
Hoping for improvement week on week from now onwards. I expect we’ll have 7-8 different players starting by the time we go to London, but not necessarily our youngsters making way.
Didn't go tonight and I have to say that we have some great young talent at the club and they never gave up, and good on them for that but we just don't have any leaders on the field at all, as we have, year on year, systematically stripped the club of real quality experienced players and without them we will just go on like this, with the youngsters getting more and more jaded week on week. . It's blooming heart breaking for many of us, just how far we have sunk and how far we have now to go to get back up there!!! . Massive job ahead and looking at our new Director of rugby its plain to see he realises that and is probabaly wondering where do we start. Final comment on watching from home; that women commentator is diabolical! I had to switch the sound down in the end.

I expected an even bigger defeat. I was expecting them to hit 70. They played our reserve team tonight.
I think some of those reserves need to keep their place. We just need some experienced leaders in along side them. At the present time we just don't have those players.
