It's now clear that the 'investor' is not Andrew Thirkill who has no intention of giving up his position as President of Leeds Rhinos. No it is his daughter Stephanie who is the investor. Clearly she is very much in love with Richie Myler and saw an opportunity to provide something after rugby for her partner.
But where is the 'investment' going? To Hull FC or to Adam Pearson?

The need to identify the way we want to play also, with everybody pulling in the right direction together. Sounds like whoever they appoint as coach wont just sign anyone available but someone who complements his style of rugby.

Obviously we don't have a name to go on here, hence why we're all speculating like mad once again!! But if our new prospective head coach is currently in employment somewhere and we then make an announcement of his impending arrival here for next year, then would that bring a certain conflict of interest into play?
Again, we don't know if it's a domestic or overseas coaching appointment, but dependent on certain circumstances will his current club feel compromised and feel it will be in their best interests to sever ties now and move forward. Would that then alter the scenario for ourselves, in that our choice suddenly becomes available with immediate effect.
Let's face it, if the situation was reversed and we knew our head coach (or DOR) was spending half his time scouting players for his new employers, I don't think any of us would be particularly chuffed with events. It may all depend on who he is and what his role is at his current club, but as I said, think there is potential for a conflict of interest to emerge here.
It would just be like us to find ourselves with a coach who has been placed on 'garden-leave' and he can't do anything at the moment!
I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

I enjoyed that interview. Its early days and I'm as sceptical as anyone as you all know but I have to say that we have heard new coaches coming in new players coming in and at one time got very regular updates from our owner but rarely have we heard 24 minutes of constructive talk which showed as much an understanding of the dynamics between the fans and the team the issues within the playing group and the need for everyone either 'shaping up or shipping out'. The idea of appointing a new Coach sooner rather than later even if he can't start till next season is a really sound one and shows a deal of joined up thinking, lets face it the last two coaches we had appointed arrived to be presented with someone else's signings and thus ideas. Its early days and this is Hull FC we are talking about so actions will speak a lot louder than words, but as good a start as we could have wished for.

Another who thought the interview was a good watch, he identified some key issues and came across as a confident and well spoken bloke. Of course we know all too well that talk is cheap, but it’s a good start.

Spot on. I thought he was very articulate and his thoughts were the same as those of us on here. He seems to appreciate that there is a gap between club and fans and I'm sure he'll do something about it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the interview, he was confident and positive regarding what the club need to do. I felt he already has a deep sense of the fans frustrations and is eager to find ways to connect the club with the fans again. A good start for the bloke, I wish him all the best in massive job.
