I'm sure Nobby will have some input talking to the Team re attitudes and assumptions when facing oppositions that are not preforming well.
I remember the Bulls had a few losses like that during our "Glory Years" due to players collectively thinking they didn't need to go full on, the other very bad habit was losing matches after outplaying the opposition and taking it easy thinking job done!

The phrase politically correct is in itself politcally incorrect so should be rephrased politically stupid!

2005 immediately springs to mind (for different reasons but it was still down to attitude) .... there was that 4 part documentary on youtube 'this is us'

2007 Wigan at home in the playoffs. 30-6 ahead with 25 minutes left

I always remember that game. Utter shellshock and disbelief at how badly we imploded. Trent Barrett absolutely ran us ragged. Wigan just kept on scoring and our confidence was shot to pieces. I seem to remember McNamara taking Burgess, Vagana and Solomona off with 25 mins to go thinking that the game was done.

Yeah that substitution was a bad one. Like when Warren Ryan took off Roach and Sironen in the 89 Grand Final.

Yes, at Belle Vue we lost two players to injury who didn't return which duly messed up our gameplan, one being a winger (always hard to replace) and our stand off and second main playmaker. Any side losing those sorts of player during a match would be disrupted. It's not unreasonable to suggest we'd have made more of a game of it without that disruption. Added to that was the fact that we went into that game depleted anyway lacking our best back and forward due to illness and injury.

The side has been strengthened since then so I think we'll make more of a game of it in the next fixture, at least I hope so!

I mean I'm realistic about our chances in the semi final as Wankfield are the best team in the league so we're probably knackered. But, given how many of their fans have bought tickets for Wembley already I would love it if we beat them!!
