My wish is for us to kick on and use that performance as the bar, rather than stutter through a season like we have done for so many years. I'm treating that game as a one off, as I need convincing on a more regular basis that were the real deal.
We need to carry on doing what we did well against Saints, in our next match against Leigh.
It’s not always that easy to replicate. There are so many factors that contribute to a performance. Had Lomax not stepped behind the line, which was almost without our doing, the score (although I don’t think the result) could have been significantly different. Then you might reflect on the performance as a bar differently.

I’ve been watching us for years, and so often it has been “same old, same old”. This feels different. I’m not saying it will be a smooth road or a title is a given. just that they don’t seem as flakey. Using youngsters and non 1st team players rather than trying to shoe horn 1st choice players into a position is also a good sign.
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Yep ... we've got a good feeling at the moment. We must be realistic though ... we'll get injuries, suspensions & play badly. We will not perform like that every week ... it doesn't happen and anyone who thinks we will has not been at the sharp end of sport. We'll lose & be panned it's modern day sport. Enjoy it while we can.

Totally agree that we won’t perform like this every week, on the other hand this performance came on the back of injuries/suspensions. I confess I wasn’t confident of a win let alone that performance, so I’m off to watch it again!

RD, I did state that I wanted us to do the things we did well against Saints, in our match against Leigh. We can only control what we do, not the likes of Lomax.
