Close. They had fisticuffs after DC offended him over a comment about his gender preferences knowing his religion based views on homosexuality.

I can't believe 'big Konnie' got upset and violent. He always plays with a smile on his face.

Well you can take the man out of Castleford and all that….and then if you plonk him in St Helens (where he’s been living for a while) and you’ll get someone a lot more adept at bigotry than dummy half breaks.

Ettinghausen's gone ice skatin'

He had a strange smirk at kick off on Sunday, which soon wore off.

His agent sounded us out, when Hurrell was at Leeds, with a view of him signing for Wire.

We turned him down based on his defensive limitations which I think was a good move by Warrington.

You wouldn't believe the reasoning behind Warringtons potential interest in signing him.

Is it suitable for this forum Abe? Or one to be kept locked away.

We were trying to secure a sponsorship with a local pie manufacturer?

Unusual. Normally RL players are erudite and nuanced and discuss such delicate subjects with care and diplomacy.

Great performance against Saints, which was genuinely reflected in the score line. Harrison was my MoM as his contribution (and others who helped with the donkey work) laid the platform for Williams and co. to organise our attack.

My wish is for us to kick on and use that performance as the bar, rather than stutter through a season like we have done for so many years. I'm treating that game as a one off, as I need convincing on a more regular basis that were the real deal.

We need to carry on doing what we did well against Saints, in our next match against Leigh.
