It all boils down to nothing to play for.

Hull for example img rating is no where near bottom should they finish bottom well they are safe anyway why waste money on players if no need this whole system is spoiling the game and making it a farce

This makes absolutely no sense. You are basically saying hull fc have no aspirations other than to not get relegated which kind of Backs up what the OP is saying

I think in the case of Hull FC that's correct. It's clear Pearson isn't keen on putting any more money into the club than he absolutely needs to. If the club cannot be relegated, he no longer needs to spend up to the salary cap on the squad.

It's ultimately a self defeating policy however, as the less money they invest in players the worse the team is. The worse the team performs, the lower the gate receipts, competition money and sponsorship gets.

Hull FC desperately need a new owner, not a new coach.

Cas today absolutely looked like a side who had given up on the field.

They are just existing, in a malaise of mid-table nothingness.

Hull FC this season might even be worse than some of the Leeds ‘teams of recent years’.

Saints or Wigan will win the grand final this year and will continue to clean up for the foreseeable future.

The mediocrity of Leeds, Warrington and hull is really bad for the competition. They can do so much better.

well good old Wire you know the mediocre team were anything but and the entertainers  were anything but (ok it was entertaining but not for St Helens).

Although we (Hull FC) have been awful for a few years, I don't know where this perception of resources comes from. We have an owner that isn't wealthy and takes a wage from the club, the Stadium is a noose around our necks as we don't make any money from it.

We had a 500k+ Covid loan to repay in the first part of this year, and what annoys Hull fans isn't the fact that we may be spending way less than Cap to pay the loan off, its the consistent rhetoric from Pearson that we are spending up to the Cap. We can't be - and if we are, then there is some serious mis-management of the Cap happening. If he had come out (before selling 8k Season Passes) to say that this years squad would be under Cap, with a lot of youth being given a chance, for the reason above, fans could get on board with that.

As it is, the fans have been vocal about their dis-satisfaction, and he's sacked the Coach, appointed a DoR (whether he is a success or not, he is more experience than the person who was 'doing' that role before him), and we have some promising investment on the horizon which we know we needed
