I would have liked to have heard from Pearson the other night regarding what kind of coach we are looking to bring in. Not their location, current employment status, experience etc but what style of coach we are looking for. I don't think he really went too much into that other than saying that we are aiming to build a team around the youngsters, complimenting them with journeymen and marquee signings. So are we looking for someone with a track record of promoting youngsters for example? There was not really anything said about why he felt it hadn't worked under Tony Smith and what he would be looking for the next coach to improve on (results would be a start obviously!). I think he even said the atmosphere in the dressing room is good.
EDIT: Just seen a Hull Live article and it was workmen, not journeymen he was after.

I'm guessing he is rightly leaving it to Myler, having worked with some good and bad coaches I'm sure he has a better idea than Pearson.
Rowley Holbrook Briers
Would be my top 3 who are potentially realistic depending on the money available.

Holbrook would be top of my list of those three. As you say, depends on the money available. Not just in terms of their salary but also in terms of the resources available to them for backroom staff and the squad. At the moment, Myler has a real job on his hands to attract someone based on our performances but if the money is there or about to be there that may go a long way to attracting someone even if they have to do it tough to start with.
