Some big misses with Hood and Atoni from a very dominant pack.
Some players need to ramp up this week to compensate but they’ve all been very good as a forward unit so not too concerned.
As few changes as possible for me.
Croft in for Pratt. Doyle to start at 9 with Smith on bench. Rodwell to start for Atoni.
Atoni, Pratt, McGillvray, Bain, Boothroyd, Pitts - missing for us.
Dagger, keinhorst, Harris, Richie Myler, Brenden Santi, James Cunningham, Bailey Antrobus, Levi Edwards, Nikau Williams all unavailable.
Seems both teams missing a few but I’m confident in our depth and it’s an opportunity for a few players for us to get a start in the team. I’m sure we will maintain a strong professional approach and I’m really looking forward to this.

Be interesting to see how we go without Atoni who has been outstanding this year. That follow up of Gale's kick and one handed pull in and quick offload was one of many top class pieces of work he did last week.

Agree, Atoni has been leading the pack. Also, like you said the way the Doncaster player tried to dive over but Atoni literally picked him up in the air was some absolute cracking desperate defence and commitment. Something not one forward can be accused of this year. We have the makings of a formidable forward unit.
Agreed with all the postings, I am concerned especially with no pack leader now JP & Atoni is out, Ashurst is a nice man but a poor leader & game reader ! Yes the pack will work hard but this is a question that we will see about ?

I don't think Atoni has actually been leading the pack. I think it's actually Bowden. Atoni absolutely has been awesome, and draws the eye but Bowden's influence shouldn't be underestimated.
I think we'll be fine against York though will need to take on some of Hood's big defense early on. He's a great player and quite capable, just normally does a different role.
