He was the best coach we've had in decades.
Not sure his time has 'gone' but I'm happy with Burgess.

Ultimately, to not win the GF with the team we had between 2010-2013 was a failure in my opinion.

He seemed very fed up with rugby even in his last couple of years with us. I was surprised how well he did initially with Rovers but not that it went sour. Almost everyone has a shelf life or finite amount of energy they can put it into something; I think Tony should have packed it in in 2017.

Tony got us playing the best RL in decades between 2010 - 2012 after turning around a great, but under performing squad. Got Lee Briers playing to the best of his ability. Delivered silverware after 18 barren years and a CC win after 35 years of waiting. Perhaps the game has moved on now, and perhaps he wasn't the best team builder and maintainer, but his place is assured in Wire folklore.
