I'm not sure Pearson wanted to sack Smith, think it has to be one of the conditions of the new investor, probably didn't trust Smith using his money. Timing is too much of a coincidence.

I agree and it all comes at the start of a new financial year. This weekends result was bad...but so was the derby and the cup game.
Keeping my eyes peeled at 6pm every evening this week as that's our usual 'good news' announcement timeslot

Someone posted on here that he's left. Also been spouted of Facebook that he's unfollowed the clubs socials as Tex apparently did earlier in the week.
