Correct ! , we are nearly as boring to watch as the Midgets and that tells a depressing story .
Playing squad is clearly nowhere near good enough. Far more complex and hard to fix than sacking Smith. You could argue the squad is actually weaker than what we started last season with….

Agree the squad is not good enough , but Smith is not improving the team or individuals

Who would want to come to Leeds that sits in that bracket ?. We burn through coaches early, skimp on costs and would be starting with another coaches team for two + years.
We are reaping the rewards of doing things cheap, screwing the academy progression, poor retention/ signings / re signings and trying to redesign how RL should be played
Am I wrong in thinking Shawn Wayne applied for the job and Furner got it? He would give them a kick up backside and sort out defence, and maybe get our players playing as a team that is wiling to be there for each other. Yes I know we need forward s but that's not going to happen this year.

I think changing the halves was supposed to fix some of that, and we do look a little better but we’re constantly being overworked in D and being put on the back foot with poor execution and discipline at times.
Honestly if you look back at most of the tries we’ve conceded they are directly from errors/penalties or the set after. Our mistakes are killing us - this isn’t anything new but it’s disappointing that the new recruits have continued some of the problems rather than solved them.

I’d say a starting prop, starting back row, starting right wing as a minimum. We are in quality territory rather than quantity.
We do need to see better from this current side too.

Perhaps the problem is what the coach is asking them to do and that’s what is causing the mistakes? If we had a more sensible game plan, I don’t believe we would be under so much pressure when defending and therefore have a better attacking platform and make less mistakes. The two things are intertwined and the coach is not recognising this by adapting the game plan to suit.
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.
