My favourite thing is when you see the panthers icon on Twitter and you think at last a new prop , centre , then it’s just club shop opening hours .

Just watched the Finn interview, seen more charisma in a tin opener .What’s all this crap about been in the game in the last 10 minutes, no you need to go out and put a marker down early stop giving stupid penalties away and play in their half of the field and actually utilise our strengths which is our spine , throw some shapes and if widdop plays kick them to death and blast them off the park early .

I couldn't agree more. If, as Simon Grix also used to say, the aim is being in with a chance towards the end of a game you are leaving yourselves open to getting caught out and losing. Up and at 'em i say!

Surprised to see Hudson is in the squad i thought he failed his hia last week. I am too struggling to be enthusiastic about the game in general. With img and us voting for it and on the field going with a small squad which is risky and then we end up with a number of injuries most long term. We then see a number of possible short term replacements going to other championship clubs. I appreciate we do not have much money but if my memory is right since we made our last signing the supporters trust have twice given the club 5 grand surely that would be enough to bring someone in on loan for a month or 2 while most of our injured are out. As for the game it is hard to see anything other than a tight battle which Batley thrive in but i will back us to win a close one.

Hudson may be OK because of the 9 day turnaround- have to say weekly squad announcement is now a complete anti climax- any one with a couple of working body parts gets included regardless of form. The apathy after jus 2 league games must be worrying the club - they really need to win what is always a difficult game to bring back a bit of positivity.

The general state of the game, the utter nonsense that is IMG, and our club's custodians voting for it have all contributed to the apathy surrounding Rugby League and our club at this moment i'm afraid to say.

Was informed that Hudson didn’t fail his hia but had a sternum injury.

Just watched the YouTube preview for Batley, not sure its the same one but it was a dreadfully painful watch..only positive was him not saying early fixtures don’t matter..
