Would be disappointed if we did that personally. Hall has potential but from what I've seen doesn't physically look ready for SL. And if that's the case then we should be playing our own players who have potential, not blooding Rovers' players for them. Bullock and Russell were the perfect loan signings. Both have a lot of experience and trying to play their way back into form who both added some solidity and reliability to our team. Hall is a relatively inexperienced kid with less than 50 games under his belt who I don't think would really improve us. If it was with a chance to then sign him long term it could be worthwhile, but I would disagree with just a short term loan move. Obviouls nothing concrete at the moment anyway so will wait and see how it plays out.
A player who has worked under Smith and not playing at Wire is Ratchford…worth a cheeky inquiry?….good pro…goal kicker and can cover fb/centre/stand off.

Hall is better than what we have, does a good job at centre or backrow

Better than what we have at 6 currently and be worth having til Truman fit…not my fave player but is a good option to have but I will bow to your superior knowledge.

You really are an angry man, why get so defensive just because someone gives an opinion. You need to relax a bit.
I'd rather play Charles and Smith, I think its better for us long term, just my opinion before you get all defensive.

Don’t tell me what to do and you didn’t give a opinion just no thanks and not just me,notice you do it to a few posts.I was talking short term as he is better than Smith but it won’t happen and il say no more as your mate the mod will be riding to the rescue soon as the fans forum clique comes in for debate

I'm not sure you understand what the word opinion means.
Not for me, is an opinion isn't it?
I also justified my reason for my opinion by giving the reason that I'd like any new signing to be a possible long term one.
Not sure what else you want.
You think it would be a good signing I don't, not sure why you ate getting so touchy about it.
The only silver lining to this season is the opportunity to get some youth out there and gift them experience.
All I need to see is signs they will be good enough. It's a step up, so they'll do things well and some things terribly, but having a season that is literally a write off means they can get a string of games, experience and we can get a good look.
Would hate to see any rash signings on more then a this season basis as we will perpetuate our existing problem.
Ratchford - no. Blocks the path and opportunity for Charles.
