I don't remember that comparison. Whoever made it didn't know either player.
But Ferris was a good player and played well for England. He's old now so we really shouldn't be worrying about him but he's no mug.

Doncaster have a decidely senior nature to their squad. Ferres won't be 38 for a couple of weeks, but will still be four years younger than Misi Taulapapa. Then they have Sam Smeaton, Craig Hall, Suaia Matagi and Jason Tali, who are all 36.
Of course, the oldest player in the division remains the inexhaustible Paul Sykes, though I don't think he has played much for Dewsbury this year.

Did not rate him Solomona was class, in fact got rated best overseas player to have played for Wakefild in S L with W Poaching second ,A week after the vote Solomon's signed for Bradford ,and just after so did B Jeffris bringing the end of one of the better team we have had at Wakefield

Solomona is the best overseas player I’ve seen in my time of supporting Wakey, he was a NZ international while playing for us too. Literally unplayable at times.

One of the best New Zealand internationals never mind just playing for us. Outstanding skills.
