He may well have bank guarantees but surely any prospective buyer would take on. Dont see any reason for not being able to sell but Pearson would then have no income?
He still owns Tribal bar doesn't he? Never been in and no idea how it is going. Also he'd surely find work as a sports consultant if he wanted to. Experience at Leeds United, City, Sheffield Wed and FC is a decent CV.

Whilst not Smith's biggest fan, and appreciating he is the face of playing side of things, there's an obvious lack of transparency about the ever-reducing resources he is being provided with.
Pearson and/or Clarke should front up as directors to explain the reduction in back room staff and salary spend, the reasons thereof and what the medium term plan is. Failure to do so when our only win in the last 13 games is sneaking past part time London, is a dereliction of their leadership duty IMO.

I actually feel sorry for Tony Smith a little , He's been thrown under a bus by AP & the DJ this season and has had to front the consequences of those two's inability to give him the resources need to compete with the rest of the league .

I can see both sides, he has definitely be underfunded, but he signed the likes of Ockunbor and continues to pick strange 17's. Even we our squad we shouldn't struggling at home to London or lose by 50 points at home to Leigh. So he definitely takes some of the blame.
As it stands probably no point in sacking him, as who would come and could they improve us with our resources on and off the field.
