Rovers will just kill us through the middle the same way Leigh did. Leigh found so much success behind the ruck because our big lads couldn't turn quick enough. Rovers will just do exactly the same unfortunately.

Were not the only one getting 'crucified' today , i am praying we dont but i just cant see any other outcome today, kr doing the basics will be more than enough for us i fear..i know form goes out the window in these games but the gulf atm is way yo big.

[quote="Tarquin Fuego"]This is frightening - it made me gasp out loud :

In his book, Ellis wrote: "What we struggled to eradicate was what I would call the ‘banter’ culture at Hull. It had existed for as long as I had been at the club, not just taking the mickey out of each other but, more worryingly, out of the values you pretend to uphold. At the top clubs, they know when the banter ends and the serious stuff begins."

Exactly why TS has diagnosed a need for a culture change throughout the club. People in Hull tend to be sceptical of change. I've always thought that this doubting culture, dark humour and a poor education system in the city are major contributing factors to local talent not fullfulling their promise. In a way, it appears that we sort of enjoy the misery more than being successful.

More of the same, mistakes, mistakes, mistakes followed by poor discipline and non existent defence, which will equal at least a 40 pt win for them, I'd love to be wrong but it would be one of the biggest shocks going for us to get anything out of this.

Who has everyone got for card roulette this week?

We could get our best17 team on the pitch for 80 mins then yes we could match most teams.
Pele hadn’t played full game yet
Ese hasn’t played more than one game yet
Sutcliffe hasn’t played 3 games yet
Okunbor has been poor unfortunately
Cator Fash both did a lot of workmanlike tidying up defensive work .
Nu brown playing out of position hasn’t helped either

I’m not the biggest smith fan either but his hands are tied with what he’s got.
“ fans” constantly slagging on here calling local born players they are not good enough doesn’t do any good ..
Posters like Bonaire & cuddle club are dobbins in disguise that are winding others up.
Oh yes by the way
I’m not adam or Tony , I’m just ut just a fan that supported the club for 50 years

I can assure you I’m not a dobbin, but thanks for your concern. Gareth Ellis slagging the club off and players attitudes etc. But yeah I’m overly negative. You carry on like everything is rosy

Also stating players aren’t good enough isn’t “slagging them off” it’s just saying the obvious. Players like Fash, cator, Scott etc aren’t good enough. It’s an opinion I don’t really care if a club apologist like you thinks it does any good

Quite nice waking up on a Good Friday with zero expectations.
No knot in the stomach or asking my landlord to open early.
A couple of poached eggs on toast watching my second game of NRL.
Will relax on sofa watching our inevitable demise followed by Saints v Wigan which should be decent.

Very similar to you W. Added baked beans over my poached eggs on toast then your viewing schedule which will end for me at around 0300 hours.

Or just get blackout drunk early and fall asleep at kickoff, there's 3 days to recover :D
