If what someone was saying the other day is true, that the club had written this season off before it began, then I think that says that Smith is here to stay regardless of how many games we lose or how many points we lose by because they won't be bothered about the results. What we have to hope for in that case is that there is a genuine plan behind the scenes that they are working on to improve things and that they are actually seeing that plan coming to effect behind the scenes. That doesn't help us supporters who only see what happens on the pitch but hopefully we start seeing something as the season progresses. I'm thinking Radders first two seasons in charge which were pretty dire but resulted in improvement beyond that.
I feel I am clutching at straws here though. It really doesn't feel like there's a plan at all at the moment and we're pretty directionless.

An owner who believes were bringing a batch of academy products through.
A coach who doesnt have the balls to play 4 or 5 young lads at a time.
Hardly on the same page, the ironic thing is Martin and Staveley have been 2 of our best players, id argur Jebson and Balmforth would be too if given a chance.
Instead tired tony will persevere with woefully out of form players, oor limited players who cannot control the ruck, show desire in defence or organise a pissup in a brewery

Or a tired nine who is playing on one leg and still flogged for nearly 80 minutes. I dont think Smith is tired he is just an old school coach who is now completely out of touch with the modern game.A rambling Joe Biden who shows no passion,living up to his name of Tinkering Tony ,repeating the same script week after week and thinks he can turn it round.Dont think it will be long till we see his other knickname of Toys out Tony emerge when Adam puts the pressure on. Its a bit like the Conservative party thinking they will will the next general election Deluded
