Old friend of mine and former main sponser interested in gathering local business men and mirroring what rovers have done.

Wonder if that explains why there were rumours the other day about an ex-player looking to buy the club?

Have no reason not to believe what I was told is true, the person in question is in a pretty good position on all things rugby in this city, but it sounds like this club could be on borrowed time if investment doesn’t come in sooner rather then later.

Was told some pretty damming stuff about the coaching at the club, however I’ll save it for the Tony Smith thread.

Itl be interesting as despite all the bleating about whos going to want to take over a club with no assetts, there are actually intetested partys.

And if the above post is accurate about more financial troubles, id say itl give pearson the perfect opportunity to listen to interested partys

It should lower the price if the club are in sh1tstreet. Might be wise for AP to seriously think of the possible offers before things get any worse .

Intruiged as to how finances could have got worse as pass sales and TV money have stayed the same, while we presume salary cap cut and we are told sponsorship has increased.

We were also told that we were at full cap and that certainly seems questionable. I think anything that comes out of the club should probably be taken with a pinch of salt.
