There's people reckoning it's £25 on the day.
It'll be a poor turnout again, 4 home cup games we've had and will make a loss at the end of it. However without a home cup draw we'd not have played a home game since September and still be waiting for one!
Would there be a saving by not opening the South Stand? If so it needs to be looked at for games like we've played recently, and the Catalan fixture too. The attendances do not warrant it and the costs that must come with stewarding, gate staff etc.
It wouldn’t surprise me if the gate is less than when we played Hammersmith and York Acorns. I don’t see why they put the price up. Just because it Catalans that won’t attract more people. More likely to get more people in if the prices are as before.
The club should stop raising the price for pay on the day. It puts people off. Those who buy in advance will probably go anyway.
I think there'll be a decent crowd. Looking forward to it myself .... the first competitive home match of the season at last.
You'd be amazed what hoops the RFL & clubs have to jump through to aquire funding and grants. It's very political. Cashless stadiums are testament to this. Unwanted, but the grant money is more valuable in the short term.

Interesting to see the bookies have given Fax 30 points start. Generous on what will be a heavy pitch for Cats big forwards.
Batley getting 18 points start against Cas. What I've seen of Cas on the relly so far they're bloody awful and wouldn't be surprised Barley run them VERY close.
Also worth a punt on Fev who've been given 34 points start at Leigh.
And the remaining Championship team Sheffield given 50 points start at Wigan.

The FC HX Town game called off, Fax will probably play on a pitch that more resembles a threadbare bowling green than a patch of grass for people to play sport on. When will the round ball ever learn you need an amount of grass to help drainage, I am not talking about 3 or 4 inches but somewhat of a covering that shows green not concrete grey/brown. Taking this point further I seem to remember the pitch has had several drainage upgrades in recent years so what is the issue? Years ago when the football had a decent league side there was grass on the pitch 90% of the time, and they played some decent footy. Or is every one going to blame the council for the weather causing the issue?
My Humble Opinion Only - let the knockers begin.

I can't see owt but a good old rollicking today and it seems strange to say we've been unlucky with the draws considering all four games have been at home. It is what it is though and if i can sit in't Three Pigs come 5.00 with a pint of White Rat knowing the lads have put up a good show and come out of it injury free that'll do me. Up The Fax!
