I certainly can't see your lot winning but I don't think you'll take a good beating either, last week against Rovers they were pretty clueless with the ball, we defended really well but Hudds didn't throw much at us and the 24-12 scoreline flattered them. I think you'll put in a battling performance, one that Dan T can claim youve turned a corner with, Best bet of the day would be Esan Marsters up against the invisible man Ock to score a double.

Much as I want to see them perform, it might be better for them to go out today with a gallant effort as the possibility of meeting any of the teams already through is more than daunting.

Like it looks more balanced on paper for me, I’d play Charles on the halves till Jake back nothing to lose IMO, Nu at 9 good and Cam 2nd row Mac in centre happy with that too.
Always the Optimist never the Pessimist. Glass Half full not half empty man me.

Hoy Tindall McIntosh been much better at centre Sutcliffe Martin didn’t deserve to be dropped Charles Smith
Ese’ese N Brown Sao Scott starting by default Staveley Lane
Houghton if fit, if not Litten Okunbor see if he’s any better off the bench J Brown Severs ... would normally say go with 2 props on bench put whoever is there won’t get many minutes anyway so would lean towards Severs as Gardiner has been terrible and Laidlaw isn’t good enough either.

Back row looks a bit weak but overall I'm pleased with that team. I'm a bit more confident than I was earlier on in the week. I think we'll only ship 40 points rather than 50.
