He was 2 years younger under Hodgson, addmitedly his appearances have been cameos and often against low table opposition like Toulouse but ive seen some promise. We have to try out new ideas at hooker as the Houghton days will soon be over.

Giving their best and effort isn't even gonna be good enough for this one. We have to win this game by any means.

They owe us that.

If there's not a massive response from the players for what they produced last week, then some of those players need to find new occupations. They should be sacked, just like any other employee would be for dereliction of duty.

Easier said then done, Leaders aren't just born they are created, they are created through experiences and a desire to want to improve themselves and those around them.

Prime example is on the two Hull sides recruitment. We've signed Jared Warea Hargreaves. One of the biggest leaders in Rugby League. He will instill natural desire amongst those around him and create and an ethos that money can't buy, that will live on well past his retirement, you saw that yourselves with Jason Smith, Gareth Ellis, Lee Radford, Richard Swain. Yet he's been hailed a has being, a player past it, a bad signing a waste of money, how many said the same about Ryan Hall three years ago, or even SKD or Dean Hadley?

The only places I'm seeing that type of comment is on here. Rovers in JWH have signed arguably the games biggest enforcer, its a year deal so potentially what can go wrong to outweigh all the positives he'll bring to the team?

That's the difference right now. We are recruiting players that'll add positively to the team dynamics, and the building of a culture that creates a willingness to work for each other and fight for the mate next to you.

‎"They supercede individuals, they supercede the team and they supercede the club. Our club is a traditional, working class club and the supporters are loyal and passionate and to see them go away happy really makes my day." Craig Sandercock.

Unless Hudds have an off day I don't think the 17 we put out tonight is good enough to beat them.

In the recent past, even when we've been rubbish, we have always had a performance in us when we decided to turn up. As a result you never saw the bookies go mad with our odds, I think they always edged their bets a bit because they knew we were capable, but inconsistent. Our opponents being 1/7 and 1/20 (or whatever we were against Catalans the other week) is embarrassing for a club like Hull and tells you that the bookies have basically disregarded us completely. We are now in the same bracket as Cas and London.
