[quote="PopTart"]They are trying to make changes to the stadium to get after points we already have......or have no we have the new stand. The league position won't affect them too much but investment into the club will, which they have. They ate putting seats in the stand opposite the seated stand so that when they make changes they don't drop below the standards.....like we did at the south end.
Their crowds won't drop below 3.5k average so they are safe there for now.
We are in a better position so I'm not overly worried, but we can't assume.[/quote Do you mean in a better position than Cas… Or the rest of the teams mentioned?

Cas haven't said 3 marquee players; Lingard said would add 3 players with SL experience/quality and 3 the year after, by which time the younger players they keep will have 50-60 SL games under their belts.
He thinks that's enough to make them competitive at the top of the table.

I don’t think Ellis would let any quick wins like that slip through his grasp.
I’m not sure other than the boards, performance on the pitch, finance and social media pushes what the club could do but if we advance on those 4 to a good degree we should see our scores rise healthily. Let’s not forget we have extra points from Stadium improvements.
The social media one we are making steady progress with for sure. If there could be some collaboration done on a few platforms to expand the subscriptions and participations that would be excellent.
With regards to the LED boards I think a few things will have to be sorted out first. The existing perimeter board advertisers will have an agreement in place so they will have to agree that their adverts will appear on the LED boards. They will also have to agree that their advert won’t be showing 100% of the time as they do on static boards. e.g. if the boards change 10X every 5 minutes then their ad might only be seen for 30 seconds during that time. I also think Verity Thomas will have to secure a number of new companies willing to advertise on the LED boards before Matt Ellis invests in them being installed. It’s all extra revenue for the club which will help offset the cost of leasing and installing them. Once fitted though, they’ll give the whole stadium another uplift

I've been told that we won't do the boards this season, as Ellis doesn't think we need those IMG points at this stage.
Sort of agree with all the points but in the end its becoming a race, so, if you are in a race, you try to win by the biggest margin & not by what you think is a safe margin which if you do the latter you can slip up up & be overtaken !

So they have promised to correct this - thus ing said a " massive change in points awarded will be made.
Where are you getting this from?
Cite please.
Prediction - the 2 clubs to miss out on SL next year are London (no way of making the points up) and Leigh, who, whilst other scores are potentially variable, will lose 0.25 gained from last year's CC win.
That's Wakey and TO up.
Cas of course could falter and see Bulls also get up.
Or Salford could lose a whole grade for a financial episode and see them graded as a C.
For what its worth i wouldnt be supprised if it were to go to 14 club sl.i would also say salford could and probally should be in danger with there current financial issues.im not over confident if wakey get in or not i inow matt as said top grade b which may be enough it may not be.tine will tell.also think it should be decided in july atvthe latest so clubs who are in limbo can plan ahead
