Yes, I said the other day great player at his peak but probably best for all parties if he retired. Sad to see his career seemingly fizzle out with so many injuries.

It should be thank you and good luck, no room for sentiment I’m afraid. Should never have been given a lucrative 4 year deal in the first place given his injuries.

Adam hasn’t the money to pay players off now.We are stuck with what we have until end of the year.I totally agree with a previous poster regarding McIntosh,he’s a far better centre than Winger, same with Okunbor,he’s a winger, never a back row

Carlos`s wage would still count on the Salary Cap for this season, even if he was paid off.

Another contract masterstroke for one of the cup winners. Try and pay him off with half of his remaining contract. Tell him to do his rehab at York, if he doesn’t retire that is.

Think we will see a reaction (of sorts) to last Saturday's shambles, but no-where near enough to avoid another loss. A touch more energy, a little more enthusiasm, but also the usual misreads in defence and no-clue attack leading to an inevitable ending.
Huddersfield, from what I've seen so far, look the very definition of mid-table mediocre and in normal circumstances I would be quietly confident of coming away with a victory. But these are anything but normal times for us and I can only see a comfortable home win, which will virtually end our year, to all intents and purposes, before Easter.

An almost free ticket into the S/F and a chance to heap even more misery onto us! Almost a perfect scenario for you I'd reckon! You'll probably get Cas or Huddersfield at home instead!
