Pele and Brown have the exact same details of charge yet one gets grade C and 1 watch ban, other gets grade B and just a fine.
There's been far later hits this year than Pele's that have only been given as a penalty.
4 players charged this week and 2 are Hull's. 100% our discipline has been poor but how is it so much worse than what other players are doing that we have multiple players charged every single week?

Unless injured there is absolutely no chance of Brown at 9.

We haven't brought him in to do 55 minutes, we have brought him in to be a wrecking ball and get us on the front foot - well give him the ball!! He struggled with the scoots from acting half, but not every side attacks the ruck as much as Leigh do - and they were playing at pace for the full 80 - so we need to control the PTB speed better

The organisation from the play the ball is a massive problem thats been going on a few years now, sick of seeing us making it up as we go along and passing to props on the 5th. Whos meant to be in charge of organising who recieves the ball? As its absolute chaos, surely Houghtons got some major accountability for this.

The more i read the more our club jus seems more and more like an amateur holiday camp.

Laid back tony yeah lads just make it up.as you go. As thats actually what im seeing.

Must be our best week yet, only one match ban picked up.

Pele clearly a marked man now, a bit like Watts.

Id go exactly as you said, lane has been better, only thing that swayed me was theyve been playing Balmforth at loose forward in the ressies.

But id have him as interchange hooker all day long.
Will do the same as you wait to see the team and if its the same poop head scratching setup i wont bother

I said pre season, that our only hope was the 4 overseas players signed would go better than expected.

Fair to say its quite the opposite.

Ese'ese and Brown looked decent signings with the caveat that it was assumed that Brown would switch to hooker when Trueman was back. We shall see.

Pele and Okunbor were risks and five games in neither look to have not come off. I'd be surprised if either are still here next season.

Still early days and that's all I'm clinging to. Ese'ese looks pretty decent to me and I think there's a player in Brown if we can get him at hooker instead of flogging Houghton for 80 minutes every game (wishful thinking I know!). Pele's a difficult one because there's size and power there that could be used to good effect but there's work to be done there to channel it right and he does appear to be a marked man (is two games played and two suspensions a new record?). Really not sure what to make of Okunbor at the moment as it looks like he is struggling to settle into the team at the moment.

Okunbor seems a really quiet individual, which when he is over here on his own as he's single, it must be hard to get used to being a different country. I don't know if it is worth putting him back on the wing - his career long position, to get him some confidence?
