Halfdan of t'wide embrace wrote:London simply aren't good enough, no surprise. Wire are in a false position for my money. They'll just make the play off yet if they hadn't started to play showreel stuff early on that would have been a point a minute.

Credit to the players. They did their best, we can ask no more. The mismanagement over the years is hurting the club yet again.

Edited to say the club might want to look at the ticketing system. Having spent £20 to look into the sun, I wasn't too pleased to be greeted by flashing lights and beeping noises telling me my ticket was invalid. Credit to the steward who quickly worked out I was genuine and not trying it on so let me in. Wouldn't have been a good first impression if I was a new fan though.

Bet you wish he hadn’t let you in!

Hockley Bronco wrote:Yes outclassed today. Smithers makes a good point about crowds. I can't do Easter Sunday and the Sutton line doesn't appear to be working for the late April fixture putting off Mrs Hockley as without that we have loads of changes. I enjoyed the Wigan game but today was too one sided for my taste

On crowds I prefer the Sunday match but I wonder if Friday night or perhaps a Saturday is a better night to get good size crowds. In any event it’s academic because as usual we have failed to be joined up and having got our act together off field have assembled a squad that is well below the standard and is unlikely to be a draw.

That game really annoyed me. It was obvious the squad is too thin and a Championship standard one but truth be told it’s weaker than the one we ended last season. That just isn’t good enough. There were 3 short term loanees in the starting 13. 3 players that other teams in our league deem surplus to requirements or not yet ready-it’s week five. How are we supposed to grow as a club if we continue to get spanked at home. This season is a write off if we don’t get players in right now. Is anyone confident that when we get relegated we’ll sweep away Bradford, Toulouse Fev etc I’m certainly not. I can’t say I fancy going to the Giants game if this is what we serve up.

Smithers99 wrote:Well I think Warrington got revenge (for that 8-60 result) and the crowds are hemorrhaging around 1,000 each match. Accepting the three visitors so far are three of the best teams, I can only see the numbers attending continuing to drop as people aren't going to turn-up week after week to watch a one-sided competition. Not sure whether we can do the Easter Sunday Huddersfield match, and at the moment will just see where we are at approaching kick-off. I doubt the return fixture at Warrington next weekend is going to make us anymore keen to make an extra effort to be around.

Glad I watched the Hull/London match on Sky as that was competitive.

All things considered I think crowds are holding up well although I don’t think that will last. Easter Sunday I suspect public transport will be up the wall and Giants don’t travel well so undoubtedly crowd will be down to about 2.5k I’d say.

Not if every game is a non contest. This game was over after 10 minutes. Cake says we are struggling with the physicality and size. No poop Sherlock but we also lack quality in key positions.

They might try hard but some of the defending is dismal. Especially left side.
Said it last season will say it again foe this season macani is a nightmare, he has no positional awareness in defence and seems to be zero communication with him and his centre.
How many times last year did we see him stood 15mtrs in field looking at the back of his opposition no?

No one supporting London can say the game was entertaining and this is off the back of the Catalans game which was equally poor and a mildly more interesting game against Wigan. It really can’t go on. It’s no good for the club and no good for SuperLeague.

All we are currently doing is proving why we shouldn't be in SL. I am also yet to be convinced Cake is actually a coach. I think Rhys Lovegrove added a lot last season.

Gus Mackay we salute you!!

What do you think about the Meadows Campagnolo pairing. Not sure either has shown they are above Championship standard. Clearly its difficult when we are so physically mis-matched with opponents but even so. o Leyland and Butterworth have been more likely to break open the line than them. We don’t seem to have a general driving us around the pitch it’s like Groundhog Day for the last two seasons before Norman and Whare turned up.

Totally agree...that was a completely miserable experience .....I've said it before but this season may be be a very very damaging one for Broncos

Any new fans are going to be put off for life

The best thing that can happen now is that no new fans turn up...crowds stay as low as possible and a new start in the Champ

I would far rather have paid my £20 to watch that Broncos team play a Batley or Widnes today

I won't be back this season.....

Wimbledon is an absolutely awful place to get to on every way ...by car, tube or train
