Now we seemingly have 0. Somebody should have been getting into them today under the sticks but everybody just stands around looking at the floor. We have no guidance on the pitch. Nobody who knows how to run a game. The days of signing players the calibre of the afore-mentioned are gone and nobody from the current squad looks willing to step up and take charge out there.

All true, we have zero leadership on the pitch. Houghton is a poor captain as he was the last time he did it. We haven't had a leader since Ellis.

Agree. I hate to say it because he was a favourite of mine as well but now he is shot. Compare him to Leutele and Leutele is 2 years younger.

Again it’s just another example of the mess we are in as a club, he wasn’t a great Captain in his first stint, had the farce of the 3 captains then Carlos, which ended with him giving up role or Smith removing him from it to end up back to square one with Houghton (who fell out of love playing and has been given one year too many)

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Crazy that in 2016 as well as Ellis we had both international captains from that year's Samoa v Tonga international in Pritchard and Manu. Minichiello captained Italy the following year too!

Gaz highly respected on and off the field yet our Mastermind coach (shortly ex coach) decides to get rid and would rather keep Gene

Does anybody actually know what Gene brings to the Coaching set up other than a yes man or bodyguard for Smith?

Weve been saying the same thing for 3 years
Weve been saying houghton needs replacing
The errors are bad
The line speeds rubbish
The discipline is bad
No organisers

Guess what nothings changed its madness

Each coach comes in and just tootles along, repeating the same cycle

With such a backlash i just cant see how Pearson can save face other than sacking himself or getting rid of Smith
