It's bad business and will bite them one day, but it isn't against any SL rules.
Who mentioned rules?
It's distasteful and immoral.
Using council funding to operate isn't the best look.
Using those funds to then pay big-name players whilst defaulting on a huge portion of your rent is even worse.

How is them getting a better IMG score than they should for performance not affecting us, or the wider game?
However, I'm certainly not attacking the SRD position from the viewpoint of a Wakefield supporter - I think it's a completely ridiculous situation for the game.

We disagree about it's importance, I guess.
What we disagree on is whether they get those points unfairly.
Morally I wouldn't be too happy especially if I lived in Salford
But from what I see, it's just a deal they got away with. I don't think anyone would complain if our council wrote off our loan.
