Because if you take £300k of salary out of their team, they wouldn't be finishing anywhere near as high as they do.

They'd be wooden spoon candidates.

Plus Cas and Feath got the same

But they didn't do anything wrong to get that money. They agreed terms with the council, just like we did.
So they don't need to take £300k out.

It's bad business and will bite them one day, but it isn't against any SL rules.

Who mentioned rules?

It's distasteful and immoral.

Using council funding to operate isn't the best look.

Using those funds to then pay big-name players whilst defaulting on a huge portion of your rent is even worse.

So I go back to my point that it doesn't affect us.
It's their choice.
If its not against the rules it isn't causing us a problem

How is them getting a better IMG score than they should for performance not affecting us, or the wider game?

However, I'm certainly not attacking the SRD position from the viewpoint of a Wakefield supporter - I think it's a completely ridiculous situation for the game.

We disagree about it's importance, I guess.

What we disagree on is whether they get those points unfairly.

Morally I wouldn't be too happy especially if I lived in Salford

But from what I see, it's just a deal they got away with.
I don't think anyone would complain if our council wrote off our loan.

Indeed, let me correct that to no Wakefield fans would complain.

Plenty would be complaining if we didn't pay it back!
