Disappointing. But up against a full time side who had their pride dented a little last week.

We've 7 players missing in Blackmore, Arundel, Baldwinson, Scurr, Doro, Johnson and Davies. Then end up losing Taufua and Gaskell during the game too. Take 9 players out of any champ team apart from Wakey and they'd struggle.

Plenty of effort, still lacking some smarts though.

We desperately need some bodies back for Fax though.

Ended up how I expected given the injuries. Okoro off with a broken jaw now too apparently.

I liked the look of him tonight. A bit suspect in defence, but plenty if energy with the ball.

That’s another bitter blow. Any idea how it happened?

I was expecting a loss. I still don’t think Wakefield fans understand the huge advantage they have from being Fulltime. And that’s properly SL standard Fulltime, none of this hybrid or part squad fulltime that some clubs have tried.
But 3 major injuries during the game. That just sealed our fate.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.

We were always going to lose. With the amount of players missing then with two more injuries (and a lad with a broken jaw) during the game. I thought we did well to keep going and we were still pushing.

The games against Wakefield are basically friendlies as they’re going to walk the league so the result has no bearing on where we’ll finish in the race for second. Get some bodies back and play like that we’ll be alright.

The game was always set up to be a very tough ask given the circumstances and obviously injuries don't help but I'm not sure the final result would have been massively different even if we hadn't lost players during the match.

How we respond against Fax is now going to be interesting and it looks like we will have to do that without some key players once again. Be massive if Blackmore and Scurr are fit again as they add some massive go forward they we are going to be lacking without Okoro/Doro etc. Who partners Lilley at halfback.. Ott/Johnson I assume. We definitely need some decent cover because Gaskell is susceptible to injury as we all know.

Could have Davies, Fulton, Scurr, tuafua if he passes hia protocol, ott, peposhi and Johnson - just a couple of Those players would be a massive boost
