Cas hosting a meet the directors Q&A evening tonight, would be good for Pearson & Clarke to hold something similar in the next few months to clarify points around salary cap spend and future ambitions of the club

More like people simply expressing the abject despair they are feeling and disillusionment with the sport and the way it seems to be going. Who’d have thought that on a forum
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
We are all seeing the same thing at Hull but view it differently, flavoured with the disciplinary situation. I cannot be as downcast as many are. I see optimism with our playing roster and our youth coming through. The bans and red/yellow cards will settle down and we will have a cleaner game with more hits like Peles original one on the Rovers loose forward before the swinging arm. Players will be better protected. TS is an experienced international coach with a rebuilding remit. I think progression will not be linear but it will happen. Glasses half empty help no one least of all the drinkers. I think this season will be up and down and will prepare us for better things. Apologies for not being miserable about all matters Hull FC

With the sport , more like the club . Never seen an overreaction about anything like tonight, people thinking we hadn’t contested the ban , so dummies out , people (fans ) not going again , wanting us to wind up etc etc . Then they find out we have ……..

Don’t think there’s an over reaction per se more as I intimated that due to a culmination of a number of things there’s a feeling of genuine despondency. People have simply expressed their feelings about the situation. Personally I find the club communication with and to its fan base pretty poor to say the least which doesn’t help or reduce the malaise and apathy that has been felt by many for the last couple of seasons. Think it’s fair to say things have probably been amplified by the way it seems the club has fared (harshly) with the disciplinary panel along with nothing much coming from/out of the club addressing things like this. I’m not saying AP or TS should come out all guns blazing but some form of noise from the club would be welcomed but it’s almost radio silence.
If we all agreed and shared the safe views it’d be a pretty boring world.

Good to see a few more positive posts tonight. I don’t agree with Ashworth ban ! But like I said previously.. under this seasons guidelines it wasn’t a legal tackle… I didn’t like Barrie macdermott stirring it up on the commentary but the players have all been told how they must tackle in 2024.. the club have to deal with it.. As a cheeky positive .( light hearted ) If we keep 13 on the pitch then we have every chance of beating a weakened Leigh team. I’m expecting Huddersfield to beat kr too. So come the weekend we will likely be on level points with the unstoppables who are at full strength.. Let’s wait till we get more of our cap back on the pitch then see how we go..

That came from me , John Davidson posted it on twitter, has since deleted it.
Think the frustration from fans is about more than that though. The clubs in a real mess.
